Mauricio Gonzalez de la Fuente is co-founder and CEO of Kodu Care. Mauricio’s direct personal experience helping a loved one with a diagnosed mental health condition thought him a simple truth: There is no health without mental health! This is the inspiration behind Kodu Care.

Mauricio embraces the thrill of making sense out of chaos, creating solutions, and bringing them to market. As Kodu Care Co-Founder, he is leveraging his 20+ year track record of solving service and technology gaps. From driving innovation as Entrepreneur in Residence, to executing go to market strategies as General Manager, Mauricio has delivered the B2B and B2C offerings customers want.

While at Microsoft, Mauricio led product teams as owner/accountable for $1.5B P&L, and global marketing campaigns accountable for a $100M budget. As business development director, he and his team drove high profile strategic engagements, investments, and acquisitions. Throughout his professional career, Mauricio has built a track record as a community leader. He has over 12 years of Board Member and Trustee experience with leadership roles in some of the most prominent not-for-profit organizations in the Puget Sound area, including the Seattle Symphony Orchestra and the Seattle Humane Society.

Sigal Ben-Ari, PhD is co-founder and CTO at Kodu Care. Sigal’s passion for healthcare technology led her to complete a PhD in Bioinformatics at CUNY and an MBA at Wharton. This background allowed Sigal to build a track record of +15 years in healthcare innovation as a thought leader with extensive experience in engineering, operations and business development. Sigal has led business development and operations at Medtronic, Acadia Behavioral Health, as well as the medical start-up Gait-Aid.

As a thought leader, Sigal’s work has been published in books and scientific journals, including Nature and PLOS, and is the Lead Editor of Health System Review.
Sigal’s focus is to position Kodu Care to deliver the best economic and clinical outcomes leading to business growth through technologies and medical services. Her passion extends beyond the company through leadership in non for profit organizations including the American Heart Association where she serves as a Health Equity Leadership Board Member, and also as a board member of the Hadassah Woman’s Organization.

Galit Kedar, LMHC is therapist teacher and Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Galit has years of experience in private practice, and has worked as a mental health professional in hospital and city government settings. Galit leads the mental health practice at Kodu Care.
Sarah Armstrong, MSW is a social worker and mental health counselor with 10+ years experience in residential and community mental health agencies. Sarah’s dedication to social service is enhanced by her BA in Psychology from Linfield College, and MA in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago. Sarah’s clinical focus is adolescent mental health and she is licensed as an Associate Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington State.
